The Flash Talks to Iris Again
Note: Speedy spoiler alarm for The Wink season half-dozen episode eleven.
'Love Is a Battleground' opens with Iris making breakfast for Barry, and – plot twist! – information technology actually tastes quite overnice. While we're yet to run into who kidnapped Iris in the first place, a number of clues point towards the Mirror Master, 1 of The Wink's nigh infamous rogues.
Most notably, Iris was kidnapped in a building chosen McCulloch Tech, which merely so happens to share a name with Evan McCulloch, ane of the men who became Mirror Master in the comics.
A woman chosen Eva McCulloch recently disappeared on the show too, and given that thespian Efrat Dor has been confirmed to announced more in futurity episodes, it'south condom to say that this family's criminal chemical element are responsible for Iris's plight.
Dramatically, there's a lot of mileage in this Invasion of the Body Snatchers storyline. Barry's been betrayed by members of Team Flash before, but never similar this, and depending how far things go, WestAllen might never recover.

That last-minute reveal was supposed to exist dramatic, and it was, simply the consequences of this are actually quite disturbing. The Flash showrunner Eric Wallace recently teased that the "existent fallout" from 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' will take Barry on "a very emotional journey that he is non prepared for."
